Deciding to earn money online is nothing that you can ever be faulted for. However, failing to set goals which will act as the road map to your aspirations is something that you should never allow to happen. You have to ask yourself the hard questions. They can do this by changing their response to their circumstances, and taking action to create their ideal situation.

One time when I went to go and buy a car, I remember the salesperson saying to me, “What do you need to have happen in order to make a decision to buy today?” Can you see what this person was trying to do? They were trying to get me to reveal my excuses so that they could provide the solution one by one. Once they provide the solutions, there is nothing that I can say is holding me back from making the purchase.

Now I want to ask you, “Which goals would you set if you had a high degree of confidence that you could achieve them?” Forget about what you think you can do right now. What I am asking is what you would want to achieve if you could be essentially assured success? This is how you should shape your goals.

I was watching something on CNN the other day regarding the tennis player Venus Williams, and a book which she just wrote. In the book, she interviewed people at the top of their field, looking for commonalities. One of the most profound commonalities which she uncovered, was the fact that regardless of the field, these highly successful individuals were of the opinion that if you have not experienced failure or a major setback your endeavors, you are underachieving. So what are these individuals all saying? They are saying that unless you push yourself to your limits, you will never know how great you can be.

Hence, if you set a goal to earn money online in the range of $15,000 per month within your first 24 months, maybe you will fall short by only earning $11,000 per month within this time period. However, this is much better than $2,500 per month. Furthermore, you will be well on track to achieving that $15K per month figure to which you aspire. If you set challenging goals, you will receive max results.
